mr facehunter, so sad that i couldn't catch you in barsonic on halloween!
post up some pics from that night, please?
and stay in KL for longer next time!

am i the only one who thinks that the person in pic #4/5 looks quite androgynous?

Brigadeiro: yes undercuts are pretty hot in the alternative scene. And people dressed like this are visible only in nightspots and select areas, suburbs and malls in KL. You'll need to know where to look ;)

should've stayed in KL longer then you'd find more rare gems.

I love love love the blue and green! I like the pose with the girl in the shredded shirt looking like she will claw her way up the wall. It irks me that tissue thin shredded shirts cost more. Love the pants on the girl in the first photo-velvet? velour?

I have to agree with Brigadeiro, I have never ever seen anyone dressed anything like this in Malaysia. I have spent quite a lot of time in Kuala Lumpur and it's all but impossible to imagine women walking around like this...

the styles are cool nonetheless

Love the first and the second look!
(The first girl scares me a bit with her undercut, but the old-lady-shoes kinda counterbalance that impression.:D )

holy shitt, i cant believe i missed out on this one! :(
and i have to agree that there are some who dresses up like that in KL except its practically impossible to find them. they can usually be found dressed up for a night out in town though id say not all would go all out looking like that. its also usually those who have a bit more cash at hand to spare who are more capable of doing so (note the exchange rate of branded goods in the country)

and i have never, ever seen ANY guy like the one in image 2 dressed up like that before. Not in my lifetime. =\

OH airhead, actually there are more than a handful of guys that dresses up like that. You just need to go to the right spots, if its your lifetime, i think youre missing a whole load out.

and by the look of thier styles i dont really think its "luxury goods" related. Its about putting things together creatively.

MONEY CANT BUY STYLE , GIRL

p.s - don't hate me, love me.

If you're the clubbing kind, the next time you're in Zouk, try taking the side entrance into Bar Sonic.
That's where it's at.

And try googling for 'lapsap'

In Kuala Lumpur, you just have to go to the right spot to see all of these kind of fashion. I've been living in Kuala Lumpur all my life and I've seen all types of people wearing this and that. The best places to go to find such styles are Bukit Bintang, Bangsar, and Damansara and preferably after midnight when the parties started.
