That first guy looks like just the coolest nerd you'll ever see.
The first guy is soooo handsome close up. The second guy looks like he wishes he were the first guy. Seriously, look at his facial expression, he's thinking "Gee, I wish I was that first guy."

The first gentleman is not smoking. You can see that he is chewing a piece of natural licorice root.
it's not a blunt it's licorice and that's ironically what makes him cool.

THE BEST SHOTS...PERIOD! the pocket square in a t-shirt as opposed to a blazer is a nice touch...actually tried it the other day...
lol @ diane's comment...the first chap just exudes confidence so I'm not surprised at your commentary! However, the second guy does hold his own...his outfit (largely black with the slight assemblage of colorful pattern) hints at a muted confidence..

Second guy looks like Giovanni Ribisi - http://gagathemovies.com/cast/Giovanni%20Ribisi.jpg with a longer nose and more defined cheekbones and a slightly smaller forehead.
I personally prefer the subtlety of the second guy, less contrived and more real, though I wish he'd lose the bamboo hat.

Both pictures and styles are very unque. First guy however makes it look so simple but extremely hotttt!
