1. What a great knit-wear shot. Love the chunky knits together.
2. A little too costumey for my taste. Beautiful building.
3. Very pretty, but also a little costumey.
4. The shoes & white socks give her ensemble an oriental feel. Her dress is a little wrinkly, needs ironing. Love the pin. Great backdrop.

Amazing finds, apart from the top image, they are all dressed v.v.traditionally! I like it though, not sure how it could be pulled off but it's nice for photo's!

Great finds,

The femme in photo 3 looks FABULOUS. Bring back the glamour - I never seem to manage it but LOVE those who dress up for every occasion.

Style Remains

Congratulations on your sharp eye, FaceHunter!

The gentleman in breeches, M.M.deC., is an expert on the history and minutia of gentlemen's clothing, as well as being always being fabulously dressed himself.

The glamorous young lady in the cafe, Miss S.S., is an immensely stylish and talented portrait painter.

The second and third pictures, it's a couple isn't it, Yvan ? They are figures of the Marais...

The expert on the history and minutia of gentlemen's clothing looks like he should....

But it's not style, it's costume.

Everyone thinks they're an expert nowadays. What i like to see is people who think outside of the box.

This outfit is still in its costume 'box'.
