I like the first picture. Cuz of the composition. And the outfit is not too bad.
The others are def. not my taste.
how fabulous is this trip becoming!? These are all awesome. Great choice coming here Yvan.

Wow, I am pleasantly surprised with the fashion in Indonesia!
wow... ive never been to indonesia but they have some style!
COME TO HONGKONG!!!!!
hehehe =>
wow, Indonesians are pretty stylish
lovely girls, I like the flow of their hair
AHHH seriously blowing my mind!!!
Not a fan of indonesian style. Shoes look like the daggy shoes my mum wears around the house. It all looks a little too 'asian mum homewear' to me...
But then again, I didn't expect a whole lot from Indonesia...
Great pics though!
I'm curious about those last pair of shoes. Very interesting...
i agree with sweetponds, im not too enthused about the stuff in iesia or singapore, and they dont a real change of seasons either, its basically hot & sweaty humidity or raining... not my thing at all, then again im a northern european mode fan, espicially black winter gear... scandinavian style, the like.
COME TO STOCKHOLM!!
GO TO KOPENHAGEN!!
it looks like she (2e indo-girl) is wearing black wooden shoes :P
Looks moisty...
I'm originally from Indonesia and now in the US. I'm glad that you're documenting the Jakarta street style! It's definitely interesting to see what people wear without the changing weather. Personally, I think it's actually more challenging to dress for year-round tropical weather than it is to hide under the plush coats and jackets and scarves.
You have to do so much more with less clothing.
Oh, and eat the food. It's so delicious!
I love the last girl's bag.

sweetponds & sabrina's...
i think you are retard..
get a life..flip more magz..
dun't compare from ur 4 seasons city to a city that almost all seasons summer's..
daaaaaaaaaaaaa...
nice caption Yvan...

So far so great Yvan, are you plannin on visiting Bandung? or Yogyakarta? Bandung got a little more of the winter look, while Yogya has more traditional clothing (Batik esp.)
Keep it up Yvan!

Yvan, you are definitely great,
wherever you go, yo surprise me,
all my love
from Argetina!
ps: are you coming to southamerica?
Hi there,
as much as the Indon styles aren't my kind of style, I do think the women do "suit" the styles which they have picked for themselves.
And yes, it's true what Diandra said: it's challenging to choose what to wear in hot and humid weather. But then again, just "black winter gear" alone doesn't sound like the most exciting thing either does it?
Weather may hamper personal dressing but personal style shouldn't be dictated. By anyone.

I like the barefoot guy in the background and the emerald green bag in the last one.
I really like the first girls dress, and it seems maybe diy-able.
"its basically hot & sweaty humidity or raining... not my thing at all" ---> If only, yes, if only we Indonesians could magically change the weather to your liking, o Sabrina A Dit, so perhaps it would be just your thing.

AWWW AMAZINGG... CAN'T BELIEVE THIS STYLE IS FROM ASIA. THEY'RE UNIQUE AND NOT MAISTREAM AT ALL.. like how i always picture them except japan. IMPRESSING
definately ....not impressed.
moreeeeeeee please... there're more unique styles in Indonesia :)
i dont think the weather dictates how great the fashion can be, its all personal. im a malaysian born, now in australia. i can see how style are diverse in aus because of the weather and the migrated style from around the world here. for all the pro-european fashionistasss, humid weather only takes away the great coats n jackets, but style can remain in different forms. maybe everyone should travel more out of their comfort zone to expand their fashion point of view.
lol, i saw the first one and thought "omg it's yoko ono". Others are okay.
I love the "sunbrellas" and loose fits.

i love that the 1st girl has such a modern air yet in the background there is a traditional pushcart. fantastic!
HA!
I have the same shoes as the girl in the last picture. They're from a Japanese online shoe store called Double Decker. Mine are pink, but I'm really feeling the white ones...
I like your pictures,cute girl.
